PROGRAM:

Just Hop on the Bus, Gus

The PVTMA is currently administrating a program known as “Just Hop on the Bus Gus” to encourage transit ridership in our County. Through this program, one-day bus passes are offered to community members who would like to try bus travel as a great and inexpensive way to meet some of their transportation needs. By doing this, our goal is to help address the problem of congested roadways in our community. This program is presented at all community outreach events where the PVTMA participates.

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Just Hop on the Bus Gus GOALS:

1) Increase awareness of Metro services available in our community;

2) Increase transit ridership;

3) Distribute approximately 500 day-bus passes over a one-year period of time.
